ALINA SENDERZON
Favorite Color: Orange
Annoying Habits: Many
Childhood Aspiration: To be a teacher.
Mainly, because it would be fun to mark students’ mistakes with a fat red pen
Do: Give her a really good novel
Don’t: Wake her, if she’s sleeping. But if you do, remember, you’ve been warned.
When it was time for Alina to go to college, her dad asked (over a Doritos commercial, actually): “Do you want to be the person with ideas or the one executing them?” So Alina decided it was more fun to come up with the ideas, and even more fun telling someone what to do when it came to execution. Thus she enrolled in the advertising program at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and graduated early with BFA in art direction.
Before going out on her own, Alina worked at a small but creative ad boutique, as a sole on-staff art director. The fast-paced agency life gave her a sensibility for quickly achieving client objectives, and left her with a serious caffeine addiction. She’s worked on marketing launches, ad campaigns, branding, point-of-purchase graphics, high-impact direct mail campaigns, and any other project thrown at her. She’s been asked to bring clients’ ideas to life, to concept and design materials from scratch, and everything in between.
She’s entertained by really smart marketing and enjoys a good laugh. She’s 5’3”. |
